"I made a lot of tracks, that I just didn’t seem to be able to go anywhere with. A notion in my head, that remained in the singularis sense. Just A notion. Sometimes I was just playing for the fun of it with no particular heading. Sometimes the hardware I had been using initially was gone and I was trying to recreate it on another synthesizer, but the machines just didn’t speak the same language. I recorded practically everything I made. I had a zillion tapes full of one long session of an odd track that just didn’t want to play. Sometimes small parts of the tracks were speaking louder than the other and I followed that lead instead sometimes combining parts from other dead songs like a regular Frankenstein.
